Let’s talk drum sets. We carry many full sets from manufacturers such as Pearl, Ludwig, Yamaha, and Percussion Plus. A staff favorite for drum sets is the Yamaha Rydeen series. Like the icing on a cake, you need cymbals to complete any drum kit. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! We carry cymbals primarily from Sabian, Zildjian, Paiste. Our staff recommends the Zildjian A Custom Series.
You already have the drums you say? Well you’ll definitely need some drum sticks if you want to rock! We carry sticks from manufacturers such as Vicfirth, Promark, Regaltip, and Zildjian. Every drummer knows that if you have a heavy hand or you just want to keep your drums sounding their best, it’s crucial to get new drum heads regularly. World of Music carries many drum heads in many sizes by brands such as Remo, Evans, and Aquarian.
Of course, you don’t necessarily need a full drum kit to keep the rhythm section grooving – sometimes you’ll find different percussive instruments to be quite effective in its place. Oftentimes, you’ll want other instruments to complement the drum kit that you already have. Did someone say “I need more cowbell!”?? We carry instruments from Latin Percussion, Toca Percussion, Remo, and Rhythm Tech. While we’re on the subject of alternative ways to rock out rhythm, we’d also like to mention that we carry electronic drum kits!
