The Guitar Department
So you're looking into getting an axe, eh?  A wise (and very cool) choice.  Maybe you're looking to upgrade, expand, or maybe you're just getting started.  In any case, we can definitely help you out.  At World of Music we really enjoy dealing with just about every instrument, but we'd be lying if we said that guitars aren't one of our absolute favorites.  Electrics, acoustics, bass guitars, amps, and all the goodies that go with 'em.  We'll start by listing some of the popular brands that we carry.
First let's talk guitars/basses.  Here's what we carry on a regular basis:

Browse any one of those links to check out your favorite guitars by your favorite manufacturers - but don't wander too far!  It's important to keep in mind that these are the companies that we deal with regularly. We get plenty of used guitars coming into the store on a regular basis (some have even been pretty unique!).  So if you're looking for a used Ibanez, Jackson, or guitar not listed here, give us a call or stop in - today might be your lucky day!

Of course a guitarist is only as good as the amp he uses!...ok that's not true at all (not even a little), BUT there's nothing quite like having a sweet amp to go with that electric or electric/acoustic.  Check out the brands we regularly carry:

Once again, we get in used amps all the time that aren't restricted to just these brands.  In fact, often we have a pretty wide selection of used amps.  Now we know that sometimes it can be a little risky to get a used...well...anything, but keep in mind that we always test out what we buy before we buy it.  On top of that, when you're looking at purchasing any amp, we encourage you to test it for yourself to make sure that you're satisfied before you make your purchase.  That's one of the benefits of coming to World of Music - you can try things out before you buy instead of just looking at specs and pretty pictures.  We also have real musicians working here ready to answer your questions and help you with whatever you need.

We also carry a wide variety of the accessories that you'll need if you play guitar or bass.  We're talking pics, straps, cables, pedals, stands, strings- whatever you can think of that you'll need to rock out.  This would be a very long page if we were to list all the brands that we carry in guitar-related accessories, but here's just a few:
