Lessons

So you’ve finally decided that it’s time to start taking lessons. Good for you! Whether you just got that shiny new instrument that you had always wanted or you’ve been “teaching yourself” for as long as you can remember, private lessons are a great way to excel at whatever instrument that you play. Not only will lessons greatly increase your proficiency at an instrument, but the teachers at World of Music strive to further your understanding of music itself and increase your overall musicianship. Though learning to master an instrument takes hard work and dedication, we also make every effort to ensure that your learning experience is enjoyable and fun!

With over 40 experienced teachers and a wide variety of times available, we are well-prepared to meet your individual needs. Each lesson is conducted in a one-on-one setting in one of our 16 well-equipped, private studios. We offer lessons in many different instruments! For a complete list of the instruments for which we offer lessons, click here.

We would also like to give you the opportunity to meet some of our teachers!  Just click the graphic below! (For those that are interested, we even have a teacher that is trained in the Suzuki violin method)

At World of Music, the learning experience is not limited to lessons alone. We often host clinics and recitals right here in the store! Attending a clinic gives a student the opportunity to gain additional musical knowledge from a professional musician. Enrolling in a recital is a great way to put your acquired skills to use in a performance setting that provides a chance to play in front of others in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Here are the basics: Lessons are taken once every week, are 30 minutes long, and cost $15 per lesson. We ask that you pay monthly and once you have a time, that’s your spot every week! It’s that easy! For more detailed information about the specifics of taking lessons, please take a look at our Policies and Procedures. Whether you have a child who wants to play an instrument or you are treating yourself to lessons, give us a call and we’ll get you started as soon as you’d like! (1-800-843-4437)
