The instruments we offer in our Rent-to-Own Program need no introduction. We offer the best instruments that teachers recommend. Don’t settle for less when you can get trusted, nationally acclaimed brands at a terrific price. We rent only great instruments at great prices.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
In a word – everything! The monthly payment includes the instrument, the tax, and the accessories that your child needs to get started. We even include two FREE private lessons with one of our teachers to ensure a positive first experience.
WHAT ABOUT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR?
We take care of the maintenance of your instrument for the entire length of your rental period. World of Music has an in-house repair shop that will keep your instrument in great playing condition. Don’t be fooled by other programs that SELL the maintenance as an EXTRA – we include the maintenance and repair, we do it right, and it’s absolutely FREE! The only repairs that you’ll ever need to pay for are those caused by misuse such as dropping the instrument. If the repair to your instrument is going to take more than 2 days, we offer a complimentary loaner instrument.
DO I EVER OWN THE INSTRUMENT?
YES! This is a Rent-to-Own program. There’s a three month minimum rental period to make sure that the student gives it a fair try. You make the first payment when you start the rental and then there are 27 monthly payments. When the last payment is made, the instrument is YOURS TO KEEP.
CAN I PAY OFF THE INSTRUMENT AND SAVE?
ABSOLUTELY! If you decide to purchase your instrument at any point during the Rent-to-Own Program, you save 20% off of your remaining balance – so the sooner you decide to pay it off, the more you save!
WHY NOT PURCHASE A CHEAP NEW INSTRUMENT?
We understand that everyone is looking for the most cost-efficient way to own a quality instrument. The brands that we rent are the most durable and of the highest quality. We believe that this, along with our great prices, makes for tremendous value. However, if you are interested in a less expensive instrument, we have a great selection of inexpensive new and used instruments. Again, when considering the workmanship, parts availability, quality, durability, and resale value, we believe that our Rent-to-Own Program is one of the easiest and most inexpensive ways to own a great instrument.

You must have your payment automatically withdrawn from your checking account or credit card on the 15th of each month.

ORCHESTRA RENTAL PROGRAM FOR VIOLIN, VIOLA, AND CELLO
Orchestra Instrument Rentals work a little bit differently from the Band Instrument Rentals. Your child needs to changes sizes as they grow bigger. We have developed a simple Rent-As-You-Grow Program, which allows you to swap sizes anytime your child grows.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY REACH FULL SIZE?
We recommend that when your child is ready for a full-sized instrument you consider our Rent-to-Own Program, which features an Intermediate Level Violin – perfect for the aspiring student musician.
